As the country continue to find out maximus of kidnapping-rescue operation yesterday, prominent people are frequenting Mwaiwathu hospital where deputy inspector general is nursing gun wounds.
Business magnate Leston Mulli visited Dr. Noel Kaira and described criminology as dangerous in the business world.
He said kidnapping is not only evil but retrogressive to the country’s economy.
Mulli however praised the Malawi Police for it’s bravery and aptness in solving the kidnapping of a British national.
“We thank God for saving the two, kidnapping remain evil. The Malawi Police Service has demonstrated ultra professionalism.” He said.
Some of the notable people that visited Dr. Kaira today include, vice president Dr Jane Ansah, Homeland minister Peter Mukhitho, Health minister Madalitso Baloyi, Deputy Police Inspector general Evalista Chisale and Inspector general Richard Luhanga among others.
The British national was kidnapped last week and a bounty of 30 million kwacha was placed on the heads of perpetrators.
The police has shot dead some of the suspected masterminders.
