President Lazarus Chakwera has described the late Matthews Eliazere Khondowe as a selfless person who gave his all to the contribution of the country’s development.

The President was speaking at Lingadzi CCAP Church in Lilongwe during a funeral service in honour of the late Khondowe, a business tycoon who died on Tuesday, April 18 in Lilongwe at the age of 90.

Chakwera said as a people, Malawians should emulate the late Khondowe’s example by being patriotic and development conscious for this country to move forward.
