The main opposition party, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), has hired private security for Facebook content creator Hanna Jabesi, who is popularly known as Tamia Ja.
This information was revealed by DPP Director of Youth, Norman Chidale, during a rally held at Nyachilenda Secondary School in Nsanje district on Saturday.
Chidale mentioned that Tamia Ja had reported to him that she was receiving death threats from unknown individuals.
“Leave Tamia alone. She is not a politician and does not belong to any political party. Those who are planning such malicious actions should be cautious; we have already arranged security for her,” he stated.
There is no immediate comment from Tamia Ja.
