Newly established Skyline Private School has emerged among Malawi’s top-performing schools following the release of the 2026 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination results.
The school, which opened its doors in 2024, has recorded an impressive performance, with its two top students scoring 15 points each.
Several other students have also posted strong results, scoring between 16 and 29 points.
Skyline Private Schools Director Africano Phiri said the institution has performed even better this year, with a significant increase in the number of students attaining between 15 and 29 points.
“On top of that, this year we have almost 70 students eligible for university selection. We had 93 students who wrote the exams and 71 have passed, with 22 not making it,” said Phiri.
He attributed the achievement to the commitment of the school’s teaching staff, support from parents and guardians, and God’s guidance.
“We salute the teaching staff as well as you, our dear parents and guardians, for this success. Above all, we thank God for the gift of wisdom and guidance to all of us,” he said.
Skyline Private School is located at Waliranji Trading Centre in Mchinji District and provides both day and boarding education for boys and girls.
The school has dedicated boarding facilities for both male and female students.
The school’s performance comes against a national MSCE pass rate of 59.26 percent, with 111,510 of the 188,169 candidates who sat the examination qualifying for the certificate, according to the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB).
